Who We Are

Our Shepherd Lutheran Church is a community of faithful in the Hartsville area proclaiming God's loving gospel through Jesus Christ.

Our community personally expresses this love to God through worship, fellowship, study and service.


What We Believe

As members of God's family, we wish to share the joy of God's loving grace with all those who cross our path of life.

We believe we are justified by faith, through grace, as reported in scripture, which reveals law and gospel.

We believe we are saint and sinner at the same time, living a sacramental life in total freedom, noting God's revelation through worldly suffering.

We believe we are ambassadors of Christ's love.
