The Crucible
   by Arthur Miller

Using the fictional work of Arthur Miller as a foundation, students will experience the injustice often associated with the American judicial system.  Through research, they will see how prejudice and fear can result in the unfair accusations, trials, and convictions of innocent people.  At the end of the unit, it is hoped that students will have become aware of their responsibilities as individuals and as citizens.
