made it official in a conference call with Red Wings' GM Ken Holland and
the press that he will return next season. Hasek said that he thinks that
he is in as good shape as he was when he won the Stanley Cup with the Red
Wings in 2002. Hasek is thought by many to be the best goalie ever to play
the game. The Red Wings picked up there option on Hasek on June 30th before
he would have become a unrestricted Free agent. |
