The New York Rangers signed veteran
defenseman Greg de Vries to an undisclosed amount of time. This will hurt
the Aves defense and will force them to look defenseman as well as
offensive players and possible a goalie. Also this will add to the all-star
filled New York Rangers who despite having the highest salary in the
NHL they have not made the playoff the past few years. Greg de Vries
will add a solid defenseman to the Rangers who seem to grab offensive talent.
The Rangers signing more veterans and adding to there salary surprises many
because of rumors spreading about a salary cap.
