Joe Sakic is a fast skater
with a deadly wrist shot. He has played is career with the colorado Avalanche,
formerly the Quebec Nordiques, and has led them to two stanley cups. He
has played in 10 NHL all star games. Some of his awards that he has received
in his prestigious hockey career are the Conn Smythe, the Hart, and the Lady
Byng. He has had numerous 100 plus point seasons. Sakic led the Canadian
Olympic team to the gold medal in 2002. Joe Sakic is regarded as one of the
best sportsmen in the league today. Sakic led the NHL playoffs in scoring
in 96 with 34 points, 18 goals 16 assist.
