| Dominik Hasek is one of the
best goalies today and is viewed by some as the best ever. Hasek introduced
a new style of goal tending when he broke into the league in 1990 that grew
in popularity as Hasek's notoriety grew. He started his career with the
the Chicago Blackhawks after a two years and a Stanley Cup appearance he
was traded to Buffalo in 1992. Where he backstopped them to 8 playoff seasons
and one Stanley Cup Finals appearance. In 2001 he was traded to the Detroit
Red Wings where he won the Stanley Cup and retired but after one season off
decided to come back. Hasek had trophy filled career with 6 Vezinas, 2 MVPs, 2 Lester B. Pearsons and one Stanley Cup. |
