It is truly disappointing to see how many poetry websites there are out there that are disrespecting the art and the talent of others. Where are the scholarships for the creative writers? There are many fraud competitions out there that are preying on poets and writers and nothing is being done about it. Take for example, poetry.com. This website has been informing thousands of people that their poetry has been selected by such and such to appear in such and such for years. People have wasted their talent and money on these types of scams and it is time to put an end to it once and for all.
Hi, my name is Tara (TAH-RAH) not Tear-a, and I have come together with poets and writers like myself and like you who want to uplift the gift and beauty of writing. I am trying to raise money to provide a scholarship to students who like to write poetry and short stories, like myself. I am calling this The "Helping Others" project because that is what this project and website is intended to do. Let me explain. I have put this website together to do many things at one time in hopes that it will benefit many people at one time. This is how: I have designed this website for poets and writers so that they can submit their poetry, short stories,songs, and even essays! I will make a section just for you where I will include a short bio, photos, illustration, and how ever many writings you would like. You can submit any of the things mentioned above to: helping_others86@hotmail.com I will try my best to give you a section in this website that best fits your personality and style. For example, if your poetry is about nature then that is what kind of artwork I will try to provide in your section of the website!
