NO BASE RUNNING

A coin toss at the beginning of every game decides home and away

Teams must supply a score keeper for games other than your own.  We only need one per game, 2 games run at a time. Rosters must be turned in before the game.

Players can only be on one team's roster.  Teams consist of 3 to 5 people.    Everyone can play!  You must have a pitcher and 2 fielders, but may also have 2 DHs.  Once you decide how many players will be in your lineup at the beginning of each game (3, 4, or 5), you must maintain that same number of players throughout the entire game.  Failure to do so will result in a penalty.   Rotating positions does not affect the batting order.

Only yellow official bats, air jacks, Loco bats, Easton Black wiffle ball bat, Moonshot bats, Jtlbat Company bats and Adiline bats allowed.  The tourney will supply a yellow bat per field as well as official wiffleballs.   Every game will get one new ball.  You may choose to select too use your own official Wiffleball.  You do not have to share your own ball.  No cracks more than 1/4 inch.  No substances added to ball.  Please return balls after each game.

Each game is 5 Innings; 3 Outs per team per inning; 10 run rule after the 3rd inning; Any extra inning games starts with bases loaded; 4Balls to walk (hit batter counts as a ball).  A check swing is when a bat does not break the plane of the plate.  3 strikes for an out.  Any ball that is thrown into the zone is a strike.  One in the zone without swinging your out.  Foul tips are strikes. Hits that stay within 12' or less of the plate will be considered foul.  This area will be clearly marked with a line.  Do not attempt to stop pitches with your hand or other parts of your body, those will be called an out.  A swing and a miss is a strike.  The zone is no less than 20" X 30" and 12" from the ground.

A pitching box will designate the pitching area.  Pitchers must start their windup with part of one foot on this box.  The backboard is placed at 45 ' from the front of the pitching box. 42’ from the back of the plate and the zone 3’ from the back of the plate.

Outs are recorded by striking a batter out, catching a fly ball, or fielding a ball before the singles line (does have to be fielded cleanly). To record a ground out players must be set in front of double line before ball is pitched.  No gloves or hats can be used to catch balls for an out.  No bunting.  Bunting will be called an out. The closest player on the field makes the call.

Any ball that hits or goes past the singles line on the ground or lands before the double line is a single.  Any ball that hits or goes past the doubles line in the air is a double, unless it clears the fence or tape.  Then it is a home run, or hits the fence then it is a triple.  All runners advance as many bases as the hitter (except with a walk and then runners must be forced). Single advances runners 1 base, double 2 bases, triple 3 bases. The closest player on the field makes the call. Batter makes foul call. Pitcher calls strikes.

The doubles line is 50’ from the corner of home plate.  The homerun fence is 70' to 90’ down the lines.
