Anode: Negatively charged electrode on the hydrogen side of the fuel cell.
Catalyst: A material that speeds up a chemical process without being consumed itself or otherwise changing.
Cathode: Positively charged electrode on the oxygen side of the fuel cell.
Reformer, reforming: Also referred to as vapor reforming; a catalytic process for obtaining hydrogen from such substances as gasoline after the reformer has converted it into a synthesized gas.
