Why little baby are you so blue?
Is it because your mommy left you?
Did she make promises to you before your birth?
To love you forever for all it's worth?
I'm sure it's a promise she will never break.
She will always remember with every breath she takes.
So don't worry little baby, don't you cry.
Your new mommy will love you and never leave your side.
And when your grown she will let you know,
just how much your real mommy loves you so.
You may never understand and never know why,
your first mommy left and never said goodbye.
But she made you a solemn vow through many many tears
that she will see you again, so baby have no fears.
And when she held you close and looked into your eyes
she knew she had passed on a blessing that would last a life time!
