The Crusaders Scooter Corps is a traditional scooter club located in and around the Greater Kansas City area. We are also part of the K.C. United scooter club network. We ride vintage and classically styled scooters, with an emphasis on customisation and finding vintage scooters for our members.

Brother Tom

Big Tom has been riding vintage Vespas since the 1980's, which is just one of many reasons he's cooler than you. His current ride is a 1972 Rally 200. Here he is on his old Bajaj until I can get a picture of him on his Rally.

Brother Max

Brother Max rides a 1980 P200e, seen here in an older color scheme. Interests include guns, reggae, tattoos, beer and your girlfriend. But not necessarily in that order.

Brother Mike

Big Mike rides a 2005 Stella, owns a 1996 Piaggio Sfera 50 and has a baked chicken tattooed on his leg.

Sister Tammy

Tammy is mostly done putting together a 1957 Lambretta LD 125. Not TOTALLY done yet, so here she is in front of her other pride and joy, Betty the Comet.

Brother Bugs

[Mystery Man]

Brother Larry

Larry White is a figment of my imagination. He's appeared in various forms in different comic strips that I have drawn at different times. Along with Sir Hawkins, he's an unofficial mascot of the club. There are a few things to know about him: He's a Crusader, he has a scooter and he is better than you.

1. So the KC United Rally 2006 was a success. There could have been a lot more locals showing up, but for a first event, I think we did decent. The important thing is that nobody got hurt, and everybody had a great time. I know the Crusaders sure did.

2. And the week before that, we had the Second Crusade. Poor weather and a minimum of pimpage kept our turnout low this year. No games, no rides, just a few good people drinking beer in the backyard. I put all six pictures up in the Photos section.

3. Tom's Rally 200 is up and running and looking good. Tammy's Lambretta and my P200 will follow shortly. Just in time for winter. Sweet.

4. I have a Scorpion pipe. I thought you all should know.

5. It's only sort of scooter related, but the Kansas City Wizards were bought by a local group. Hooray, they're staying in town! I would hate for them to have moved right after I got that tattoo...

6. Oh yeah, I reported last month that we were losing our bad ass domain name and advertisement free existence. Well, we aren't. Long story short, I cancelled our domain and service, but for some reason it didn't work, and now that I've cooled off a bit I've decided to keep it. So, there it is, we're keeping www.crusaderssc.net.

Cheers,
