C.N. Tower
At a height of 553.33m (1,815 ft., 5 inches), it is the World's Tallest Free Standing Structure, an important telecommunications hub, and the centre of tourism in Toronto. Each year, approximately 2 million people visit the CN Tower to take in the breath-taking view and enjoy all the attractions it has to offer. The CN Tower was built in 1976 by Canadian National (CN) who wanted to demonstrate the strength of Canadian industry by building a tower taller than any other in the world. The CN Tower is situated on Front Street which is located in the Heart of the Entertainment District. The CN Tower is easily accessible from Union Station as well as many major streets and highways. For a broader sense of the CN Tower's location, it is located on the north shore of Lake Ontario. SEE IT WHILE IT'S STILL THE TALLEST! The Skydome is an enourmous structure. Home to the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Argonauts. The skydome is an amazing 143,000 square feet of exhibit space on field level! The skydome has a retractable roof that can close and open. The skydome is located right next to the CN Tower.
Air Canada Center
The Air Canada Center is home to the Toronto Raptors and Toronto Maple Leafs. The AAC is 665, 000 square foot and is located on Bay street. This building is a fairly new building and is an awesome sight! Come see a game or watch a concert!
Princess of Wales Theatre
The Princess of Wales Theatre was constructed in 1993. Come see one of the most favourite shows. The Lion King and you don't have to travel to Broadway to see this thriller. See the dramatic show at a low price combined with a nice hotel just a 5 minute walk away! Come to Toronto!
Paramount's Wonderland
Canada's premier theme park, Paramount Canada's Wonderland lives up to its name. Paramount in size and boasting more than 200 attractions with over 65 rides an excellent selection of roller coasters a huge 20-acre water park and lots of live shows one visit is never enough. Toronto Zoo
The Toronto zoo is where kids and adults become one and the same. Located northeast of Toronto, the Toronto Zoo is home to over 5,000 animals representing just over 450 species. Come see and pet the animals while having an amazing time.
The ROM
Generations of children and adults have trooped through the museum since it opened in 1914. With 6 million objects in its collections and 40 galleries of art,archaeology and natural science. the ROM offers a whole world to explore. Favorite exhibits include the wonderful and spooky Bat Cave, the Egyptian mummies and the dinosaur gallery, where 13 skeletons are arranged in realistic simulated settings.
