Agriculture
The main economy of th South is farming. The South is the best region for farming, and for agriculture. It has the fairest system of land distribution, as almost anyone can grow crops. The land is used well for food. This region has goiod rice, wheat, soybeans, corn, and coffee. North Parana has very good coffee growth, although frost can be a concern. Livestock farming is also very important to the South.
European Influence
The Germans had a large influence on Brazil before World War 1. When the government of Brazil decided to make Portuguese the official language, this German influence ended. The capital of Parana has the signs of the groups that colonized it- teh Germas, Poles and Italians, especially the vineyards here. The communication between the South and the other regions has improved, but the South's ethnic origin is still mainly German, Italian, Swiss, Ukrainian, Polish, Japanese. The people have the South are fairly valuable in Brazils culture, as well as it's economy.
