There's a little known fact about my series, Road Rovers Extreme. Originally, Extreme was a sort of spin-off of the X-Men. The group was gathered by a man named Shepherd (not the same one as RRExtreme) to combat evil. This original series wasn't very good, though it did inspire some elements of RRExtreme. Read on to learn more.
Original Extreme Cast

Prof. John Shepherd - Indebted to the evil villian, Apocalypse, Prof. John Shepherd gathered together and trained Extreme. On the surface, the team was gathered to help defend the Earth. However, the team was really being used by Apocalypse to carry out his evil plans. But Shepherd had other plans...

Bolt - Once simply a gardner in North Carolina, Deedra Harley was recruited to lead Extreme. She possesses the ability to control lightning and the abilitly to fly. She also has limited control over weather patterns.

Access - Chris Pines is the team telepath and computer expert. The second in command of Extreme, he possesses the ability to "access" people's minds, as well as interface with computers and electronics. He can also "teleport" on a limited basis by changing his body to electrical impulses and sending them through power lines or phone lines.

Bang-up - Kim Black remembers little of her past before she was recruited to join Extreme. A victim of amnesia, she joined the team hoping that they could help her uncover clues to her past. She possesses super-strength, flight, and is nearly invulnerable.

Deep Freeze - James Johnson has little experience and less self-control. He kept his past hidden, until his brother, Blaze, revealed that he was a runaway and high school dropout.

Ace - John DuBois was orphaned and raised in the Louisiana Bayou as a thief. He possesses the ability to transfer energy from himself into objects. He usually carries small silver blades with him, which he charges and throws with deadly accuracy.

Blowout - Dawn Miller's parents were brutally murdered when she was still very young. She and Access fought as partners for a while when they were in college, but some undisclosed incident broke them up. Blowout has the ability to detonate solid matter, right down to the atoms in the air. She also has the ability to control how powerful the explosions are, and usually keeps it down to sparks.

Fang - Lawrence Dawson was once locked away in an institute for the criminially insane. His past is still relatively unknown. He possesses the ability to shapeshift into a wolf-like creature. In his human form, he has heightened senses.

Penance - Once a member of Generation X, Penance was found in the stronghold of Emplate. The group took Penance with them until she could be taken back to her home in Snow Valley with Generation X.

Gizmo - John Forge was brought into the team by Prof. Shepherd in order to keep Apocalypse from having complete control of the team. Gizmo possesses the ability to create and understand all things mechanical or electronic.

Snakeskin - Ana Pines is the long lost sister of Access. She possesses the ability to shed her outer layer of skin to reveal a metallic form underneath. The transformation wears off after an hour or so, and each time she transforms, her original body becomes stronger. She and Screech are best friends and before hooking up with Extreme, they were adventurers.

Screech - Jamie Benson possesses the ability to use sound as a weapon, turning it into energy beams. She is Snakeskin's best friend, and for a while, the two traveled the country searching for excitement and adventure.

Gunner - Karen Parker was the last addition to the team. She possesses an intimate and uncanny knowledge of all weapons and the ability to throw shards of energy, with 100% accuracy.
