Even though the comic has been canceled, the characters still live on, and this page is devoted to keeping up with them. My main source for GenX-related news is Generation neXt, which has been around for a very long time and is very reliable when it comes to the latest gossip.
Husk's first appearance at the school is in Uncanny X-Men #413. It's unclear as to whether she's a full-fledged member of the team or not, but she appears to be living on campus. M also appeared recently in the three part "Hope" storyline in UXM. Husk will be joining Uncanny X-Men sometime in the near future, according to Wizard magazine. It also included a sketch of Husk in her new uniform, as drawn by Kia Asamiya. Click here to view the sketch. Monet has recently been appearing in New X-Men alongside a small team consisting of Siryn, Cannonball, Multiple Man, and Darkstar. After the latest issue (I believe it's #129) her fate remains to be seen. Chamber will have his own Icons limited series this fall. Kea Wong has been cast as Jubilee in the sequel to the X-Men movie. Wong has done several minor roles in both movies and television, including the role of Paula in "Snow Day." Click here for more info on Kea Wong. | |
