Waiting To Go

• Here I sit 1800 miles away from the one I love
• it's 3am and I sit here under the stars above
• The phone bill's too high so I cannot make a call
• just to tell her I am bounceing off the wall
• Six more days before I am getting on that plane
• Lord please help me to keep from going insane
• We will finally meet after 5 months of talking on the web
• who knows, she might see me and tell me to drop dead
• Oh the pain and heartache that scene would bring
• after all the words she said to make me feel like a king
• Don't know if I could take rejection after all this
• as I hunger for her love and a warm soft kiss
• My darling my hat is in my hand, my soul open to you
• please don't bring tears to these eyes of blue
• The walls are closeing in on me in this lonely room
• and I fear I'll lose it if the waiting doesn't end soon
• So listen well to these words of mine young heart
• don't give up now or your love will never start
• Who knows what it will bring when you meet
• it might be the love you have looked to seek...
