and they were close to important kings
In this day and time people dont use their mind
and most would not be gentle or even kind
When they talk to someone they dont stop to see
what lies behind the person and this bothers me
People try to hide their hurt behind a mask
and no one who doesn't see would never ask
I am one who seeks to heal those who have pain
and try to fix it so it won't happen to them again
But so many times my efforts are scoffed upon
and at night I lay awake bothered till early dawn
Does it take that much time to care how one feels?
or are they just too busy with the worldly deals
You need to look deeper into people you meet
and be concerned when they stare at your feet
Everyone needs a friend from time to time
and ones who really care are sure hard to find
So please people when you meet someone look deep
you could make their day and give them a nights sleep
