BOOT'S - TRUCKER
Trucker
- There's four million trucks on the road in a day
- but most people just gripe about how their in the way
- People don't realize that without these trucks everything stops
- and food and all they use would be gone from the shops
- The gas for their cars, the milk their children drink
- all that and more would dissapear without the trucking link
- Men and women drive night and day to deliver their load
- while the stress and long hours soon make them old
- They pull 40 tons behind themthrough snow, ice, and rain
- while missing their families and their boys first game
- Tired and hungry they pull into a truckstop long after dark
- only to find there's no space to stop cause it's an RV park
- Crossing the country they are subjected to alot of abuse
- from tourists, locals, and police who think they are a golden goose
- People pull out in front of them and do stupid stuff
- and then wonder why drivers get surly and rough
- These men and women deserve more than our thanks
- as their thinking of your safety when the engine cranks
- So do the trucker a favor and don't be a nut
- or you might have a truck lodged in your butt...
