Time

Is it your time for a change? or shall you go on?
with the lies and pain you feel like a pawn
They control you and it's hard to break free
if this goes on I won't even know me
Sadness surrounds you and your minds in a mist
if I wrote down the wrongs it would be a long list
Yet still I stay on for want of a reason
while time slowly passes and into another season
Lord give me the strength to break away from this deal
and maybe then I'll be able to say what I feel
No more excuses or denial i'll leave and be free
and then maybe i'll finally be able to be me
Are you trapped in time in a place that is cold?
then please get out while your still feeling bold
No ties are worth feeling trapped and abused
or crying all night and always feeling used
The time is now to find a better loving place
before the sands run out and age lines your face
You don't have to stay because of anyone else
it's time for you to think about just yourself...
