- I reach my hand to you not to interfere, but console
- as a friend I just wanted you to really know
- My intent is to help when I can, admit when I can't
- if I do wrong then you have a reason to rave and rant

- I am not perfect nor should I ever claim to be
- thruout my life I only want to be known as me
- Some days I am strong in spirit, some I am not
- and there are times when I should be shot
- What I am trying to say is just be my friend
- and let all of our troubles finally start to mend
- As time goes by our frienship might really grow
- and I might become a person you'll be proud to know
- Take these words to heart as we all have days
- that show others we need to mend our ways
- Reach for someone that you have left behind
- as they may turn out to be gentile and kind...
