• We've been together for quite some time
• and even now to me you still look so fine
• We have had a good life full of fun and laughs
• now we must get through one of our toughest tasks
• I brush your hair back softly from your face
• and wish there was some way I could take your place
• Toughts of you when we first met flash through me
• and your blue eyes and black hair I can still see
• Three tall sons you brought into this life
• and no man could have ask for a better wife

• soon it will be my time to finally be with you too
• But now I must let you go on your jorney alone
• as my job is to stay here in this cold lonely home
• I choke back a sob and brush away the tears
• thinking about our love and the many good years

• and there will only be room in my heart for you
• God, this is going to be bad for her I'm going to miss
• as she breathes her last i give her a farewell kiss...
