Cancer, The Black Death

• The Black Death, my God the evil reeks in the name
• and those that have it know that it's a deadly game
• One minute your feeling okay then you feel so weak
• the pain wracks your body and relief is all you seek
• The loved ones in your nest cry for you each day
• chemo takes your hair but you know there's no other way
• Promises are many but that doesn't stop the river of tears
• or take away your or your familys haunting fears
• The pain is intense the agony races through your soul
• your mind screams out please dear Lord let me go
• People around you hang their heads and feel lost
• and then you realize what this is going to cost
• Your eyes are dim as you reflect back on your life
• and wonder whats this doing to a husband or a wife
• There's no cure for this deadly thing as of yet
• but sometimes miricles happen that drys eyes that are wet
• My wish for those that experiance this very alful deal
• is to hope you get a miricle and let you know how I feel
• I pray for each of you and share in your pain
• and hope the black death goes away like the rain...
