Since 2000, I have had the pleasure of working to make this race a successful fundraiser for an organization that gives so much to the community, the ARK.  I have seen first hand the blessing that the ARK is to many Lowcountry families.

This event has personally changed me and has strengthened my faith journey with Christ.  I know that all things are possible through Him and rely daily on the gifts that He has so generously given me.  All of the successes are possible because He is the focal point of this event.

Each year, the participants, the volunteers, the running community, the St. Luke's community, and the Summerville community join together.  It is a thing of beauty and it could not be accomplished without each and every person.  I am blessed by each of you and thank God for your presence in my life.  I look forward to another wonderful year together!
