The Beginning

First you start off by giving your name and getting a lecture on what this game is about like in Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow etc. Instead of Prof. Oak doing this, your new Proffesor is Proffesor Mason. He will get you started. Then you will begin your journey in his lab. Mason will then give you an option to take one of 6 training courses. After that you are on your own!!!!

The First Battle

Now that you know how to play, it's time for your first battle. And, if you don't know how, I will walk you through a battle. First before leaving the lab, go to the room to the right of the room you are currently in. There you will see 2 scientists. Talk to the one to the far right. When you see two options(one on the left and one on the right) when you are talking to him, go to the one on the right. Do the same for the second question. Now you will be in a battle. The first thing that happens is you draw cards. Then you flip a coin to see who goes first. Heads is you, tails is your opponent. After that you will see a screen that has a list of the cards you drew. Pick the basic pokemon card that you want to be in battle first. My suggestion is pick a pokemon that you have energy for. Then pick the pokemon that you want on your bench. NOTE: YOU will REALLY need the benched Pokemon. Then go out of the screen, by pressing "B" or going to the bottom of the list and exiting. Next you will be presented with a lot of JAPANESE OPTIONS. The one on the far top left is to attatch a card to a pokemon, or use a card in your hand. The one below it is your attacks. Although, you know, energy of spcific types is needed to attack. The next one you need to know is the one at the far BOTTOM RIGHT. It ends your turn. The one above it allows you to retreat. But, Remember, some pokemon have retreat costs so it will ask you to discard whichever energy cards you want. The rest are just. silly options that check you and your opponents attacks.
