Rare pure breeds for the elequant taste Skön Hund Kennels - Contract Please read these contracts carefully. Not all people are right for our dogs/puppies. We are firm in our beliefs on what should and should not happen to our pups in their lifetime. They were not asked to be brought into this world, it was our choice, and therefore we are responsible for our dogs, not just while they are in our care, but in their new homes as well. We state in our contracts that at any time we will take back one of our pups, for any reason. We do not want to see one of our pups in a shelter or rescue. We have an open door policy regarding our buyers. If at any time you need help or have a question, we are always here. Although not every dog we place will stay where we have placed it, by keeping in touch with our buyers, we hope to be there to help correct a potential problem or be there for the dog if it is ever in need.We also provide, for our companion only pups/dogs a spay/neuter contract and also restrictive paperwork. Since we do help out in rescue by spreading the word about dogs in need, we do not want to see more unwanted pets in the shelters and rescues. Not all of our pups can be purchased on a companion only contract. However, it is mandatory that sub standard puppies that clearly show a fault come with a companion only contract. Please read the following contracts carefully. If you are interested in a puppy after you have read and can abide by what we provide and what we are against, then by all means email us to receive further info on them. We also welcome comments and suggestions about our contracts, so please feel free to include them as well. Standard Contract Comes with every
dog sold The contract becomes in effect on the date of signing.
By signing, both parties have read and agree to the contents of
this contract. Seller states that described pup is free of any known
defects and is healthy and sound at the time of sale. Seller states
that dog/puppy is current on all health care required (shots, worming,
special medications) at the time of sale If a problem is found with
puppy within 48 hours of purchase we will replace the puppy with
another puppy of equal value. Guarantee will not be honored if problems
have been caused from lack of care by owner, poor diet, excessive
exercise, or injury to dog. This will not take affect if the dog
is x-rayed and test results find loose hips. This is a breed trait
and cannot be guaranteed against. Seller also does not guarantee
that dog/puppy will pass an OFA certification with an excellent
rating. If puppy/dog is to be shipped to buyer, it will receive
a vet check up before that time. If any problems are found, the
seller will notify the buyer at once. When buyer receives puppy/dog
they will need to have a licensed, certified vet check within 48
hours. If a problem is found at this time, the buyer is to contact
the seller at once and appropriate steps will be taken to rectify
the situation. If at any time during the life of puppy/dog, the
buyer is unable to provide an adequate home, the the buyer will
contact the seller. At that time, the seller will either take back
dog/puppy (buyer paying shipping fee's) or will assist in finding
appropriate housing for the puppy/dog. At no time shall buyer surrender
the puppy/dog to a shelter or pound. If this happens, the seller
will take legal action because of breach of contract. Seller states
that the puppy/dog shall not be used for illegal activities, dog
fighting included. If the puppy/dog is confiscated by proper authorities
for use in illegal activities, puppy mill raids, abuse/neglect charges,
or any other activity deemed inappropriate, unethical or illegal,
the buyer is in breach of contract. Seller states that at no time
shall the puppy/dog be used to supply offspring to puppy mills,
puppy brokers, or pet stores. If buyer contributes to any of these
groups they will be considered in breach of contract. Seller states
that if buyer purchases a puppy/dog with a companion only contract,
and then breeds it they will be considered in breach of contract.
In the event of breach of contract.... In the event of breach of contract, rights of ownership will be reverted back to seller (Skon Hund Kennels). Puppy/dog will be shipped back to seller at buyer's expense. All fee's incurred by seller will be payable by buyer, including, but not limited to, court fee's, filing costs, shipping charges, travel expenses, lost wages from work, attorney's fees, etc. Seller will also take legal actions against buyer if kennel name or reputation has been involved due to buyer's actions or words. In the event that the puppy/dog was bought and resold to a puppy mill, broker, pet store, or lab then buyer will be responsible for all costs incurred in getting dog back. This includes, but is not limited to, cost of buying puppy back, legal fees to do so, travel costs, and lost wages. |
