Inclusive Preschool
Welcome to our class web page! We
are located in Sumter, South Carolina. Here at Kingsbury Elementary
we house an inclusive preschool. This model serves 40 regular education
and 16 special needs students a day. It is a half day program that
is fully supported by the school district personnel. There are two
teachers and two paraprofessionals in the classroom at all times.
One teacher is a content area specialist and the other is a delivery specialist.
This model provides different approaches, the sharing of ideas, and various
methods of teaching. Our goal is to provide the best quality of education
for all students and for each child to have readiness skills for when they
enter Kindergarten.
