Overview of Buying Equipment
In order to buy equipment, ammo, or weapons the player must be in a "shopping cart" area. A little green shopping cart will appear on the left hand side of the player's screen while he or she is able to buy goods. The default keyboard bind to pull up the "buy menu" is 'B'. Pressing B will give the player a list of categories to purchase items from.

Overview of Weapons & Equipment
There are a lot of weapons featured in Counter-Strike. Below we have outlined each weapon that is available in Counter-Strike with information on its cost, power, ammo type, and other attributes. Also available in Counter-Strike are two types of grenades and two versions of armor. Check it all out below.

Weapons and Equipment Equipment that you can buy to better your odds in a Counter-Strike match. Equipment Kevlar Vest and Helmet Cost: $650/$1000 Info: The vest can be bought alone or with the optional helmet. Use the vest and helmet to add a little extra protection to your body and head area. H.E. Grenade Cost: $300 Info: Each player is able to carry one High Explosive (H.E.) Grenade. The grenade will do a good amount of damage to anyone in the blast radius. Use it in small passages to clear out already injured enemies or gain a health advantage for the ensuing fight. Smoke Grenade Cost: $300 Info: Each player is able to carry one Smoke Grenade. The grenade will emit smoke in the surrounding area upon being thrown. Serves as a distraction and an offensive tool in general. Flash Grenade (Flash Bang) Cost: $200 Info: Each player is able to carry two Flash Grenades. Anyone in the blast radius of the flash grenade will be unable to see for a short duration of time. Nightvision Googles Cost: $1250 Info: Useful in particulary dark maps, the nightvision googles will give an edge to players using them. Spot the enemy before he can even see you.
