Sax's DTR Newbie's Guide

Thanks for stopping by....The idea here is to build a place that will help those of you that are just starting out with DTR. To make you faster, quicker, smarter. DTR looks easy at first, but to really go fast, there are quite a few steps that everyone has to go through. Hopefully this place will help you get there quicker. Trust me, I'm far from an expert here, so take anything you find with a grain of salt......However, I AM good at crashing. If you need any help going slow or hitting the wall, just let me know... I AM AN EXPERT at those two things.....LOL!!

While trying to figure out just what I wanted to do with this page, I checked out most of the major DTR sites. There are some really great ones out there, and I'll post the links to the ones that I think are best so you can check them out, but to me, most of them give you the "Here's how you should do it" routine. I really didn't think that another one of those was needed.

I'm not that great at this game. I love it, but I consider myself still a beginner. So here's the deal:

I'm going to chronicle the steps that I've taken to get to this point, and the things that happen in the future, in hopes that perhaps I can flatten the learning curve for someone else.

Knowing me, there will be some bumps along the way, and most probably some hilarious mistakes.

Keep checking back and we'll see what happens. Who knows? We might even learn how to drive these darn "critters"!!

But first, just to be sure that we're all on the same page, there are a few things that you need to do to get started...This was laid out with the idea that you follow them in order from left to right. At least read through them before you jump straight to the setups page....yeah, right! LOL!!

I have one small favor to ask in return for all this info. Please take the time to go to the forum below and give us your comments....good, bad, or ugly. That way we can know if we're on the right track here.
