Loves Plight

In the middle of nowhere,
Time passing you by.
Loves comes and goes,
Fast as a blink of an eye.
One day your happy,
Next day your sad.
To the list of regrets,
Another mistake you add.
You would think,
That one would learn.
But a desire for love,
A heart will still yearn.
Just someone to talk to,
Spend time with.
You start believing,
Love is only a myth.
Long for the closeness,
Awake in the middle of the night.
Feeling an unfulfilled need,
Loneliness becomes your plight.
