Eye To Eye

She find herself all alone,
With no love to call her own.
Waiting with anticipation,
For the ringing of the phone.
Its his voice,
She longs to hear.
The words "I love you",
Whispered in her ear.
She will never survive,
But to him she cannot tell.
Her life without him,
Going to be an absolute hell.
Hurtful games were played,
Minds filled with foolish pride.
Angry words were spoken,
True feeling kept deep inside.
Knows if she would apologize,
And begs him to stay.
He wouldn't leave her,
She doesn't want him that way.
She will say that things are fine,
But she hugs her pillow and cries.
Her heart so full of love for him,
But they will never see eye to eye.
