I told you I like you,
You asked me why.
I said I was attracted,
You laughed, I cried.
I fought for your attention,
You choose to ignore me.
Did things to get you to notice,
But you never could see.
Tried to have a conversation,
You answered, yes or ok.
Ask if we could talk,
You say yes, but not today.
Tried to make you laugh,
You would pay me no regard.
I ask, are you indifferent?
You said no, I am just tired.
I would write to you,
You never did reply.
If you read the mail,
You forget the reason why.
Why I spent my time,
It's clearly plain to see.
Who am I fooling?
You have no interest in me.
