Hunger

A hunger that burn within,
Leaving feeling empty.
As if a echo in a hollow space,
That's empty of life completely.
Loneliness fills the void,
Where happiness is nonexistence.
Hopes becomes dreams,
And dreams becomes distance.
Not capable of being loved,
But a never ceasing need.
Acknowledging defeat,
Memories never recede.
Memories hold captive,
Hopes and dreams.
Quality of being worthless,
No pride or self-esteem.
Living becomes existing,
The future is the past.
Not to be altered or undone,
The end result remains miscast.
