Remember September The 11th

Today we will never forget,
That many people gave their lives.
To live in this great nation of our,
Many losing husbands, children, wives.
We'll say a prayer for them,
And pray that they believed.
Take them home dear Lord,
For them we shall grieve.
In Your loving arms,
Our love ones come to You.
Forgive them who did this,
For You they never knew.
Is this a sign of changing times,
Full of sorrow and despair.
If so, lets go back to yesterday,
Less burdens we had to bare.
We can't go back, only forward,
No matter how lost we feel.
In Your heavenly garden,
Our love ones now will fill.
Let us all remember this day,
Not the death but the life.
By the grace of God,
Pray we all see the light.
Life is such a precious gift,
But so easily taken away.
Let us speak the words I love you,
Each and every day.
Love will prevent hate,
Then hate will depart.
God please I pray,
To let love fill all our hearts.
