Just Me:
Hello, and Welcome to all who visit my pages.
I live in a very small town
in South Carolina.
We have 1 traffic light here. Maybe 4500
people here. More cows then people.
I am a scorpio, meaning have a temper..lol.
But also means I'm very passionate
about someone I love.
My Hobbies:
My hobbies are sewing, quilting,
bird watching (My sister got me into that),
reading and music.
I like to write poetry and short stories.
I like to collect things.
Cows, (my kitchen is full of them) stamps,
glass baskets, old glass ware, anything that is pretty...lol.
I like yard sales and flea markets.
It's true what they say,
"Other peoples trash, is someone else's treasure".
My favorite song:
My favorite song would be Moon River.
Mom use to play it all the time,
when I was growing up.
I've even tried to write songs. I had one
recorded in Nashville, kind of like a demo.
I like all kinds of music. But mostly I listen
to country and oldie goldies.
I listen to the words, and the
song has to say something to me, before I like it.
I am a hopeless romantic.
Gary was my best friend:
Gary died August 9, 2007
One never realizes how much
they love someone till that
person is gone
I understand now, the
true meaning of lonely.
Gary will forever be
in my heart.
My husband, My lover
My best friend.
I will always love you.
I lost my Mom in 1998, Valentine's day.
In February, 2004
my Dad joined my Mom in heaven.
January 2006,
my brother joined Mom and Dad.
I miss all three very much,
more then words could ever say.
My favorite things:
My favorite color is red. My favorite smells are
honeysuckles, lavender, and
fresh rain.
I love a lazy raining day,
with nothing to do but watch a good movie,
read a book, just piddle, do nothing at all.
Love to laugh, pick, and have a good time.
Some say I have a warped sense of humor.
Love a good cup of coffee,
and good conversation.
My favorite food:
Favorite food would be pasta. Diet Mountain Dew.
I like M&Ms, the peanut kind.
Things I don't like:
Discrimation of any kind.
Spinach!
Any kind of food that looks like it
might eat me back, like lobster,
crab, shrimp.
Don't like snakes, bugs, worms,
spiders, lizards, or any
of those creepy things.
Things I do like:
I like to try to grow flowers
in my yard in the summer.
Don't really have a green thumb.
Thank goodness for Miracle Grow...lol.
My friends:
I've had people tell me that
I am crazy to go to chat rooms,
and get attached to people, most
I will never meet.
I have
been very fortunate. People I have
meet on the web, have
been really great to me.
I love these people, even if
we may never meet, these friends
I have met in chat, and new friends
I will meet in chat, hold very
special place in my heart.
