I used some old blue jeans that belonged to my son to do the finishing :) I love re-purposing clothing that belonged to family like that :) Makes the finish so special.
You can see the wear in the denim-my son will be 30 next month...not sure how old these jeans are(he hasn't lived at home in almost 10 years-so I know they are at least that old)they were VERY tattered-he got some good use from them, and now I am getting some good use from them :)-I tea stained some lace and added a button from one of our pair of jeans as well :)
