The Amick Family is based out of Leesville, SC. A performance by The Amicks' includes Traditional Gospel Music, as well as songs with a Bluegrass flair. They perform many of the 'old time' favorites that are being lost in the high profile Gospel Music of today. Influences go as far back as Martha Carson and The Chuck Wagon Gang, to more recent family groups such as The Cox Family and The Isaac Family. The Amicks stay focused and determined to keep traditional gospel music alive. The close knit family harmony of, husband Bruce, wife Bobbie, son Marty, and daughter April, form the nucleus of the group. They are complimented by great vocal and guitar work of cousin Bob Strickland, the wonderful downhome 'flat picking' guitar style of Steve Scearce, and the talents of Ronnie Davis on bass guitar.
