"...so please hand me the bottle, I think I'm lonely now - and please give me direction, I think the hurt set in..."

Evidence supporting this theory:

  1. One of the lines in "Busted" is I found out one life just ain't enough, I need another soul to feed on. I'm the flame, I can't get burnt, I'm wholly understated. These lines are directly vampirian. If you consider this theory while reading all the lyrics, the message behind "Busted" becomes Rob's fight to conceal that he's a vampire.
  2. Rob likes to dress in all black.
  3. Concerts are held at night, though one hole in this theory is that he has been seen out in daylight. Could be special effects added later. Concert goers seem drained of energy after their performances. Maybe fans aren't tired after a concert because of cheering; maybe Rob's been feasting on them. Maybe he also hypnotises them so they won't remember the concert was really at night. CGI and brainwashing the tech people does the rest.
  4. Rob has a tendency to call everybody baby or child. Maybe everybody is younger than him. Rob could be hundreds of years old but look like he's twenty-nine, because he's immortal.
  5. There's a radio interview the matchsticks did at 99X's studio in Atlanta, GA. Rob mentions the sun and how hot it is. Could have just been a small beam of light coming through the window. I don't know; he sounded a little bit scared.
  6. Sometimes the other matchsticks look out of it, and Rob looks refreshed.
  7. Just look at his eyes! There's depth to them, and we all know he's affecting our souls when he sings. He's got some power there with his words, just like a vampire.
  8. Vampires are awfully charming and good looking. Rob is... awfully charming and good looking.
My roommate, AnneMarie England, helped me come up with this list. She's actually the one obsessed with vampires.
