Welcome to the web page of the Broome High School Cross-Country team. Above is a picture of last year's team. This year looks to be a promising year for both the boy's and the girl's teams.
The Centurions are looking foward to a good year, with a much improved team. The boy's are led by returning Senior Oscar Judd, who made All-State last year, and returning Junior Matt Power. Seniors Ben Pettit and Lambert Mixson also are returning to the team. The Centurion guys are looking foward to the addition of Junior Marcus Arnold, and 8th graders Carter Ridgeway and Grady Swofford to the team, as they promise to contribute to the team immediately.
Last year, the girl's team was plagued by injuries, however, with a strong team returning, this year appears very promising. The girl's team is led by returning Seniors Stephanie Vangsnes, Hailey Coggins, and Stacey Duckett. Returning to the team after a year of injuries is rising Freshman Jennifer Lawson, who was on the All-State team when she was in 7th grade. Other members of the girl's team include Lindsey Brannon, Mandy Judd, and Christina Ryder.
