Family Reunions are an important element in the on-going effort to keep close the ties of blood and love.  Without these occasional gatherings of the Clan, the fabric of the family often can shred or fray... members are forgotten; lost to the remembrance of others; a few become isolated and sadly... some won't care.  Unfortunately in our modern America we are fast becoming simply a social security number or some credit card account number or even worse... a numerical statistic in a data bank or on a ledger of some governmental agency.  The ages old tradition and sense of family as been under assault from those who would reduce every man to the same as every other man. This slow but steady loss of individual and family identity is central to the insidious and nefarious notions of many egalitarian thinkers and social engineers in America today.  Therefore it is incumbent upon those of us who firmly and undyingly believe in the sanctity of the individual , the basic family unit and the ties that bind the extended family as the only means to preserve our freedom, our heritage, our Constitution and our country.  This LAST EVANS FAMILY REUNION OF THE 20th CENTURY then is dedicated to the propsition that the knowledge of our kinship; the recognition of our present members; the understanding of our collective heritage; the affirmation of our ancestor's beliefs and the commitment to forever remain a close family... we all shall prosper and flourish well into the 21st Century.

Accommodations; I have pre-arranged with six area hotels to set aside rooms at below the normal 4th of July 1999          Holiday season rates.  You must make firm arrangements by no later than March 31, 1999 (see accommodations).          I have brochures for all six hotels... if you would like one; send me an email request and I'll get it out to you ASAP
