Featured Freebie Sites

ACD has great downloads. Some you have to purchase but they also have great freeware (among other things): ChemSketch: a powerful molecular drawing tool that also does 3D models and animation. ISIS Draw: also a molecular drawing tool recommended for low-end computers or computers with limited resources.

Check out ACD Labs's web site for other neat stuff.

Check out the Ziff Davis Company's Software Library. From free (yes, free) versions of the latest browser, operating systems, internet tools to really great audio CD rippers and MP3 encoders, they have it there. Downloads are also rated to guide you if you'd really like to wait or not...unless you're on a high-speed connection.

TCLite Pseudocompiler

For ChemCE students. TCLite is a smaller version of Borland's C++ compilers; it contains mostly used libraries. Take note, though, that TCLite cannot produce stand-alone executables. It is not much but TCLite is excellent for students learning programming in C++.
