Stef's back in Baltimore page

Introduction

If for some reason you have stumbled across this page you may be wondering two things...who is Stef and why does she have this page?

Well to answer the first question...I'm a 29 year old (actually now I am 30-GULP!) American who moved to Germany the summer of 97 with my two cats , Helga and Owen, leaving behind a boyfriend, friends and family...sigh. I work as a Post-doctoral fellow via a Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) stipend at the University of Konstanz , doing research on muscle physiology. It's cool!

Okay to answer the second question...

the goals of this web page are:
  1. to give my boyfriend, friends and family that I left behind (..sigh) a easy and fun way to find out what's going on with me here in Konstanz,
  2. to pass on tips, advice and exciting tells of adventure that may be helpful to others that are thinking about moving abroad (or just visiting), and
  3. to serve as yet another diversion from statistical analysis of calcium transient decay in mammalian skeletal muscle fibers.

The latest exciting adventure:

Stef goes home for Christmas!

AND sees Jake

Click on Jake to see him getting all sorts of attention...
