Welcome to the home page of the South Lynches Fire Department Station 2. We are one of six stations that make up the South Lynches Fire Department. The South Lynches Fire Department, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that provides fire protection and rescue services for the South Lynches Fire District. The South Lynches Fire District covers an approximate 10 mile radius of Lake City which includes the Coward, Camp Branch, Scranton, and Leo-Camerontown communities of lower Florence County as well as the Cades community in Williamsburg County.
Station 2 is located in Coward, South Carolina. The Station 2 first out run area includes the Salem, Sand Hill, New Hope, and Coward Crossroads communities as well as the town of Coward. Out of Station 2 we run an engine, a pumper-tanker, a heavy-rescue unit, and a rescue boat.
