A story of Valjean who is imprisioned and reforms his life when he escapes jail. He becomes a prominate figure in his community with a sucessfull company, Fair Business practices and treats his employees well. Everything is going well for him untill a inspector who worked at the prision comes to town and starts piecing together that this man is the killer that he knew from jail. Now with a young child Valjean excapes capture and makes it a monistary. He grows old with his daugher in this monistary untill Inspector Javert finds and tracks him down once again. A great story from the old ages and can still be respected and enjoyed to this day.
I found this movie to be most enjoyable and find a connection with the characters. People can reform if they trully belive that they did wrong. And Mr. Valjean is one of them, unfortunately he has a tenacious inspector hunting him down from years to come, not settling until he find and kills Valjean. It's well worth the rental fee.
