Midnight Cowboy

1969 Movie with John Voight. A Country boy who idealizes John Wayne, and other Cowboys goes to the city to make some money. His game is Positution. He trys romance every woman with his Cowboy looks and ways, but don't realize how crazy he looks. Like his lame friend trys to tell him "That Cowboy Shit is Gay Shit". Because of this fact, he mostly attracts men. Being born a little stupid or just plain gulliable, he gets screwed over. Several men getway with a "BJ" and can't even pay for it. His first arrival to the city makes it seem to be a easy job, but it does'nt pan out. He immediately finds a woman to sleep with, but he turns out to be a sucker. The woman crys and weeps and tells him that she can't pay. Voights character even offers her money to help her out. (Eventhough She is the one who lives in a penthouse) He hooks up with a street smart grifter, and the "Fun" starts. He learns the harsh life of being on his own. He is forced to live in a abandoned appartment, Eat trash and any stollen fruit possible. Ratso (The Lame Friend) trys to find a quick score. Tricking women into washing the clothes of Voight, breaking into a shoe cleaners box (to clean his boots) all to try and make some money. All the work and it doesn't work. Through out the movie different flash backs reveals a bad background for Voights character. The flashbacks bring up facts like him being raped, his girlfriend (who he dearly loved) being chased then raped, his mother being a whore. That's for starters. After a quick score Voight, and Ratzo Rizzo take a bus trip to florida because it was winter in the city. They left because Rizzo became sick. This movie was very good and I think anyone with some time should watch the movie.
