*SOFTEN MY DREAMS*

Every night in my dreams I wait for you.
And every night, my darling, you come to me.
You open your arms to me and I am again complete.
Our souls, uniting, in perfect harmony.





I feel your hands, gently stroking my hair.
Your breath on my cheek is like a lovers caress.
As we immerse ourselves within this timeless moment.
Both lost within each others touch.





Like tinder brought to flame your touch ignites me.
As our lips meet we quench each others thirst.
As our bodies unite we satisfy our hunger.
Our journey to fulfillment has begun.





On a softly cushioned cloud we drift back to reality.
Our desires sated, yet again, if only for a night.
As we leave each other our hearts cry out in anguish.
Day break, has once again, taken you from me.





But do not despair, precious, love of mine.
Because every night I will welcome you in my dreams.
And for as long as there is breath within my body.
I will live only for those magical nights....





When you soften my dreams with your sigh.
