C'est La Vie (Present Day) We see a dark figure leaning over a small object. As we get closer we see it's a woman, crying, leaning over a tombstone. As we get even closer we see that it's Scully and we can read the tombstone. It reads: Fox William Mulder 10/13/67-9/23/00 Loving Son,Friend,Partner, and Husband. Scully begins to resite a song in poem format, while recalling the previous events. 'Every night in my dreams I see you,I feel you.' And so we see her thoughts and hear her words. (previous days) Scully walked into Mulder's apartment, like she always did,now that they were dating. He had told her he loved her and she had done the same. Today was different though. Mulder was sick. REALLY sick. She took him to the hospital. (present day) 'That is how I know you go on. Far across the distance and spaces between us,you have come to show you go on. Near, far, wherever you are I believe that the heart does go on.' (Previous days) At the hospital, the doctor had given Mulder an MRI and a CAT scan which showed a tumor on his brain. The doctor told Mulder and Scully that he had 1 month to live. Scully had cried that day,as did Mulder. (present day) 'Once more you opened the door and your here in my heart and my heart will go on and on.' (previous days) Mulder, while watching 'Titanic' with Scully, suddenly began to have a seizure. Scully imediatly took him to the hospital. He had to have surgery. (present day) 'Love can touch us one time and last for a lifetime, and never let go till we're one.' (previous days) After Mulder had his surgery,He and Scully got married. Three days later he went into a coma. Scully never left his side. (present day) 'Love was when I loved you,one true time I hold to,in my life will always go on.' (previous days) Scully's mother had came to visit Mulder. As did Skinner,CSM,and The lonegunmen. His mother came, but found it too hard to stay. (present day) 'Near, far, wherever you are,I believe that the heart does go on.Once more you opened the door, and your here in my heart, and my heart will go on and on.' (previous days) September 23,2000. Scully sat, holding Mulder's hand as the doctor came in. Skinner,Ms.Scully, and The Lonegunmen watched in silence. Tears strolled down Scully's face as she held his hand in anguish. The doctor looked at Scully, sighed, and discontinued the lifesupport that had kept Mulder alive.Slowly his heartrate began to drop until it reached flatline. Scully did not move. At the funeral Scully gave a uligy and she managed to pull herself together during the barial. (present day) 'Your here. There's nothing I fear and I know that my heart will go on.' (previous days) Scully had decided to keep the image of the moment, in the hallway, when Mulder told her she completed him. (present day) 'We'll stay, forever this way.You are safe in my heart and my heart will go on and on.' As Scully finished her poem(song) she began to cry harder, uncontrollably. She stood up and left, her final words'I love you' to Mulder. Somewhere up there Mulder resited his own poem: You tell me that you love me And that I hold your heart, I pray forever you'll be with me, And never a day apart. I love you so very mch. I love your eyes, your hands, your face, Your gentle, loving touch, And your warm, sweet embrace. You hold me in your arms And I never want to part. You keep me safe from harm And I keep you in my heart. Now you whisper in my ear Tender words of love, And as you hold me, oh so near, I thank the Lord above. Heaven sent you to me And all my dreams came true. So here's six little words to you from me: I really, truly do love you! That night Scully heard that poem in her dreams,in Mulder's voice, and knew she would be ok."C'est La Vie" she thought. A good life. He was always there with her. Ok.Too sad? Sorry.
