Mr. Pairat Kaewsarn is the Lecturer of Chemical Engineering Department, Ubon Ratchathani University , Thailand.

Born in Ubon Ratchathani in 1964, he attended Leukamharn Warinchamrab State school and Benchama Maharat School before university education at Khon Kaen during 1983-1987 under scholarship from the Khon Kaen University (Faculty of Engineering). He obtained his Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology , Australia in 1997. He graduated Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at the Griffith University , Australia in 2000.

In 1998, Mr Pairat received his award on Excellence in Postgraduate Research from the Griffith University, Australia. In 1999, he also recieved travel grant fron the Chulabhorn Research Institute, Thailand for attending the Fourth Princess Chulabhorn International Science Congress.

Mr. Pairat began his professional career at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Khon Kaen University in 1987. Initially, he worked in the Chemical Engineering Plant Design Group. Later, he moved to the Ubon Ratchathani College, Khon Kaen University (Currently Ubon Ratchathani University) in 1989.

During his work at the Ubon Ratchathani College, which lasted until 1990, his expertise on engineering matters was widely recognised by the pioneer staff. Mr. Pairat acted as Deputy Dean for the Faculty of Engineering for a brief period. He was a principal figure in establishing the Faculty of Engineering, Ubon Ratchathani University in the early 1990s.

Mr. Pairat is married to Mrs. Pattaya , with two sons and a daughter
