EXPERIENCE AS TRANSLATOR:

From 1993 till present time - Senior researcher at St. Petersburg Institute of Linguistic Studies; and freelance translator for Leontief Centre, an economic and sociology research unit under the St. Petersburg City Hall.

1972-1993: teacher of English at secondary schools in Leningrad Oblast, Leningrad Institute of Economics and Finance, and Leningrad Mining Institute.

PARTICIPATION IN LEONTIEF CENTRE PROJECTS:

1. 1994-1995: Socio-Economic Development of St. Petersburg and Opportunities for Attracting Foreign Investments (commissioned by the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Finland).

2. 1996-1998: A Strategic Plan for St. Petersburg (financed by the USAID).

3. 1993-2006: The bi-monthly bulletin "The Socio-Economic Situation in St. Petersburg. A General Overview" (published by Leontief Centre).

4. 1997-1998: Employment, Unemployment and Labor Market Behavior Among Highly Qualified Workforce in St. Petersburg, Russia (commissioned by the TACIS).

5. 1998 – 1999: Renovation and Preservation of the Historic Center of St. Petersburg (financed by World Bank).

6. 2002-2003: A survey of public utilties systems in six Russian regions (commissioned by the World Bank).
