Let me just say that even if this movie sucked, the starring role played by Rachael
Leigh Cook made the movie worth watching. Any way, on with the review. I don't
want to spoil the plot but the given is that Zach,
Freddie Prinze Jr. is the most
popular guy in school and the class president. He gets dumped by his girl at the begining
of the movie and to prove he still has it he takes a bet to take one of the school
"nerds" and turn her into the prom queen. Now, this movie seems to have it all to satisfy
all of our different viewers. First off, we do have cool guys and hot women to satisfy
everyone's visual cravings. Next, the plot, although a little played out (remember Can't
Buy Me Love? Same premise, except no money involved and gender reversal) the characters
are what seem to make this movie great. Both Cook and Prinze play their characters very well
and you can associate with what they are going through. As for
Matthew Lillard, he plays
a small role, but damn, is he funny. All I can say is that you will love the dance scene.
To sum it up, this movie is good for all you kiddies and couples out there. Definately on
my must see again list.
