"A STAR FOR RYAN NEIPLING" So many hearts, so many lives, As I walked outside tonight, There were no stars, the moon was gone, Then thru the darkness there it was, My body starts to feel the warmth, So every night I go outside, All my love,
CANCER IS SO LIMITED
It cannot cripple love

I think you touched each one.
Your memories are all that's left,
But your suffering is done.
I gazed up towards the sky.
Tears were flowing down my face,
I stood and wondered why.
My heart was aching so.
As I searched up high for you,
"I asked why did you go?"
One star appeared so bright.
I swear that it smiled at me
And said, "Don't worry, I'm alright."
In time we'll finally see.
Reaching out I touched your face
Now you're forever free.
I know right where you are.
The brightest light, God gave to you,
and called it "Ryan's Star".

In memory
Of the dearest person I will ever know; my cousin
Ryan Neipling

It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot kill friendshop
It cannot surpress memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot steal eternal life
It cannot conquer the spirit
both good and not so good.
Always you have been with me,
but are you friend or foe.
When others look upon you, they see an enemy
and for the most part, so do I.
But! If it were not for you,
I would have less understanding,
less compassion, less knowledge.
And! Yes perhaps my heart would not be,
as warm and accepting.
You cause me pain, and that pain is reflected
in the eyes of those of those whom I love,
and who love me, but have we not grown closer
because of that pain? You make me angry,
but if you did not, would I have the strength to fight?
you move me to tears, but are not those tears cleansing?
Do I fight you like a bitter enemy,
Or do I gently embrace you,
and send you away to another place?
There seems no right or wrong way, but to start on the journey,
I need to say your name and acknowledge that perhaps
the dividing line between friend and foe is a wavery one.
Cancer, you have helped me to learn so many lessons,
now go, and let me be free.

Angels to watch over you.
that they're always
hovering near
Whispering encouragment
whenever clouds appear,
Protecting us from danger
and showing us the way,
Performing little miracles
within our lives each day...
Yes, I believe in angels,
and I'm sure that you do, too,
And I'm convinced that angels
are watching over you.
